Slept in. Gerry made pancakes. He used the baking powder from 2007 which he chipped out of the can so they were more like crepes than actual pancakes. No complaints were heard.
We hung around this morning and relaxed. The kids needed some down-time and most of us got some exercise.
Bradley: Billy is hitting me!
CC: Bradley, how many times did you hit Billy with the pillow? I saw you do it twice.
Bradley: Billy, I’m not going to talk to you for 40 days and 40 nights!
Cousin Phyllis came over for lunch today. It is always a treat to visit with her and catch up on all her fun.
The afternoon was spent at the beach. We buried the kids, dug holes and fed the seagulls. The wind is up and consequently, so was the surf. We didn’t swim much.

CC bought fresh grouper and tuna for dinner – yum! We celebrated Billy’s birthday tonight since David is heading back to Winston Salem this evening. His actual birthday is Saturday.

When I read these posts I cannot even explain how much I wish we were all sisters! Love the piggly wiggly shirts! and CiCi is a force as usual! Love the beach action and imagination. Your humor, Lara, is unparalleled.
